You don't need to stay the night to make it worthwhile. Turn your day hike into a full outing — walk up to the refuge, soak in the views, and sit down to a proper hot meal, cooked fresh in the mountains.

Lunch at Puesto Cagliero

After your hike through the Los Huemules Reserve, we seat you for a set lunch: starter, main, dessert and drink. Seatings at 12:00 and 13:30. Your lunch includes Reserve entry. Book ahead — seats fill up fast.

Plan your day: from the Reserve entrance to Puesto Cagliero it's roughly 3 hours up and 2 hours back. The Reserve opens at 9:00 am and closes at 6:00 pm — factor this in when planning your day.

Lunch at Piedra del Fraile

Right in the Río Eléctrico Valley, with Fitz Roy as your backdrop, we serve a generous home-cooked daily dish. Note: lunch here doesn't include Los Glaciares National Park entry — purchase your pass via the official Parks website before you go. Spots are limited, book in advance.
