Icetrek Neumeyer Glacier
Overview
A deeply Patagonian experience.
Our way of experiencing the mountains
We believe that true adventure happens when you can connect with your surroundings and your own pace. That's why we don't run open groups or mass excursions: every departure is 100% private, designed exclusively for the booking group.
We care that every person feels supported, safe and respected in their own timing. Instead of keeping up with a large group, here the experience adapts to you.
Authenticity over quantity
We don't want to show you Patagonia from the outside, but to invite you to really live it. We design thoughtful, in-depth experiences where the landscape is enjoyed in silence and without crowds.
Because for us the mountain is not a backdrop: it's an encounter.
What you'll experience
Fact Sheet
Itinerary
Dawn at Puesto Cagliero
The day begins with a hearty breakfast at the refuge and the final preparations before setting off on the adventure.
Approach Hike
We'll follow a semi-technical trail, gaining altitude and taking in unique views of the Cagliero Glacier and the Río Diablo valley.
Via Ferrata: The adventure begins
We'll climb rock walls along a system of steel cables, secured by safety equipment and supervised by our professional guides.
Untouched terrain and Patagonian silence
After the ferrata, we head into a remote, untravelled area where you feel the true vastness and wild character of Patagonia.
Neumeyer Glacier: Patagonia at its purest
The most anticipated moment: we put on crampons to walk over little-explored ice. The route is not fixed and may vary depending on terrain conditions and the participants' overall state.

Personal Gear List
During our activities, as long as it doesn't compromise the group's safety, the weather is part of the programme. In summer and spring, temperature swings are common and gusts are often strong. The wind is an old friend of ours, and we'll make it part of the adventure — just as the lead guide has the discretion to change the original plans if deemed necessary.
Having the recommended gear lets us enjoy these features and make them part of the challenge, without them becoming an obstacle.
The following gear is mandatory. If the lead guide considers that its absence compromises the group's safety, the activity may be cancelled.
